Another Cross Curriculum Connection

Review the artworks provided on the primitive art page in the Wiki: Ancient Lineage, Too the link is in Moodle. Review the artworks in this section. Select one, and write a brief analysis of its historical and cultural context. For example, what cultural ideas are expressed? What social, political, and environmental themes can you find? Refer to additional resources to help with your analysis.

Cross Curriculum Connection

Select a cultural group from pre-Columbia Latin America presented in the list below. Research the culture and its artistic traditions. Summarize how the people's belief and ways of living influenced their art. You may choose Olmec, Teotihuacan, Mayan, Aztec, Chavin, Moche, Tiahuanaco, and Incan culture. Be sure to not only provide your own summary but a link or links to your resources. Wikipedia cannot be an option.
