Quote of the Week

Drawing is the honesty of art. To draw does not mean simply to reproduce contours: drawing does not consist merely of line. Drawing is also expression, the inner form, the plane and modeling. See what remains after that. Drawing includes three and a half quarters of the content of painting. -- Jean Auguste Ingres Quote

  28. This article portrays how every one who lost a family member because of 9-11 should handle this kind of situation. As a little boy, losing his father made him upset at first. But after awhile, he became to understand that his father died doing something heroic for his beloved country. He no longer disagrees with the war, he believes revenge should be put upon the heartless people who killed his dad, along with other innocent people. As a 19 year old, he is now pursuing in his dreams with every memory of his dad right beside him.

  35. It must be really hard for the boy to have to mature so fast because he wants to take care of his family. No child should have to do that, they should be able to be kids and have fun, not grow up so fast at such a young age.

    ReplyDelete
  59. It's absolutely horrible that a young kid had to go through the loss of a parent. What's worse is that Zachary was far from being the only one to deal with that. Even so, it is amazing how he was able to get through the tragedy and go on to use his life to help others.

Many of them were mothers, fathers, brothers, sisters, etc. This is just a little insight into a brave boy who took this tragedy and turned it into something positive. The way he's keeping his father's spirit alive is beautiful.
